Support Services
Student Support Services are available to students enrolled in the nursing program from both the School of Nursing and Camden County College. These services include, but are not limited to:
English as a Second Language (ESL) Program
The faculty developed and implemented program that assists students for whom English is a second language to be successful in the nursing program. Download brochure [788K PDF].
Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available through the Department of Financial Aid at Camden County College. Please contact Camden County College at (856) 227-7200, ext.4985 or visit their website.
Student Advisement
- Students are assigned advisors at Camden County College.
- Nursing Faculty are assigned as advisors to students in the School of Nursing to assist them in realizing their personal and professional potentials.
Testing Taking Strategies/Study Skills
Testing Taking Strategies/Study Skills support is provided throughout the program using group and individual sessions conducted by the faculty of the School of Nursing.
Tutoring
Tutoring for the nursing courses is available from the faculty at the School of Nursing. Camden County College provides tutoring services for non-nursing courses. Please contact the appropriate campus listed below.

Child Care
Child Care is available at the B.P.U.M. Child Development Center on the Blackwood campus of Camden County College (856.227-6872); and in Camden City child care is offered by the Rowan University of New Jersey to enrolled students of Camden County College and Rowan University (856-756-5407).
Accommodations
Students requesting accommodations for physical, psychiatric or learning disabilities are required to contact the Camden County College Program for the Academically Challenged Student (PACS) at 856.227-7200 ext 4430.
Employee Assistance Program
Services of the Employee Assistance Program are available to nursing students through Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center.
Health Program
As required by New Jersey law, all enrolled students must maintain health insurance that provides basic hospitalization coverage. Students must present verification of coverage at the beginning of each nursing course. A low-cost health and accident insurance policy can be purchased by enrolled students at Camden County College (856-227-7200 ext. 4322.). The Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center Employee Health Program makes preventative health measures available to the School of Nursing.
Parking
Free parking is available at both Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center and Lourdes Medical Center of Burlington County to enrolled students with proper parking decals.
