Health Requirements
PRIOR TO ENTERING CARING FOR PATIENTS ACROSS LIFESPAN I, students must have a complete health exam, complete the cumulative health record and submit it to the Coordinator of Enrollment Services.
The Cumulative Health Record includes:
- Health history.
- Physical examination.
- Tetanus booster (last date received).
- Hepatitis B immunization Series
- PPD (Completed one (1) month prior to start day)
- Chest X-ray (only if positive PPD).
- Lab studies:
- Titers for Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
- Titer for Varicella (chicken pox)
- Titer for Hepatitis B (series completed)
IF ANY TITERS READ NON-IMMUNE, YOU MUST RECEIVE BOOSTERS. - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (Chemistry)
- Urinalysis (UA)
